i got my first real tattoo the other day. i've been thinking about this for a long time, and i found an artist, who is good, and who does it out of his house (so age doesn't matter). he also happens to be really well priced- this was only 60 bucks:

The dove and olive branch symbolizes peace- and, personally and politically, i try hard to be peaceful. my name, in hebrew, also means peacefulness, and at my babynaming ceremony and party, the dove and olive branch was the theme.
so basically, i'm incredibly stoked on this tattoo, it means a lot to me, and it didn't hurt nearly as bad as i thought it would.  ¶ 10:59 AM
